The final limiter at 0.85 "mika elle me dit" 70 to 100khz , at 1.50,70 to 90khz max

The preset is not up to date with the ST 6.20 lastest beta ?

Again... Beta104
With louder preset Loudness must go sligtly lower to fairly comapre to beta79 !
- With louder preset Set "Always clip bass below" lower. For that preset to about 88%
- With louder preset Set "Do not reduce bass below" lower. For that preset to about 65%
- Be sure that "Remove DC" is ON
- Be sure that tilt is adjusted
- ...

I have a very big peak in FM broadcasting with beta 104, in beta 79 it's ok
Is HARD LIMIT enabled? If so the peak level should NEVER get above the configured level.
Did you turn oversampling off? (Loudness window)
The settings and preset themselves should _never_ be able to cause this - basically it must always be possible to change settings without having to measure if the output stays within limits.

What type of sounds are causing this? Loud bass (square waves)? Or loud highs? In case of loud bass it could be a tilt issue - although I don't really understand why that would not occur in BETA079 (the bass was a lot weaker there though).

Can you somehow record (for example using Virtual Audio Cable) or check (with MPXTool) the data that is sent to your sound card?

I checked with MPX tool the peaks are still at 100.1% so i guess it's tilt from your soundcard and/or measurement error from pira. I have a nice track for you to test http://www5.zippyshare.com/v/78316690/file.html with this track i'm having big overshoots around 5 seconds on the pira. Everytime it gives different measurements, sometimes the peak is higher the other time it's lower.
I hope tomorrow it will be better when i receive my Marian trace alpha card. But i guess the pira analyzer is also giving an error. I now have temporary some old rvr transmitter to test with, i'll see if i can try it tomorrow.

I tried the same preset and i don't see much differences in peak level on my pira. When i set final limiter from 0.85 to 1.5.
What soundcard do you use?
Have you calibrated it for tilt by setting the phase sliders?

EDIT: I do see differences in deviation between v079 and v104 but peaks are the same in MPX tool so problem for me is also in tilt / transmitter / analyzer.

Ok, no FM overdrive used I suppose? What I see is a more-or-less constant level around 94%, one peak to 100% around 11 seconds. How did you record it - from the sound card or using something like VAC? And was FM Overdrive indeed turned off?

Anyway, no huge spikes here like the one you're talking about - average peak level seems to be around 94%, max is 100%, that would mean approx. 6 * 75/100 = 4.5 kHz overshoots -> 79.5 kHz, not 100 kHz.

If this is what you are sending to your sound card (you might want to play the flac file directly and see what Pira says), then it must be the sound card causing it.

Which does not explain yet why it didn't happen in BETA079.
