-After installation of ST, Winamp freezes for about 10-15 sec when closing.
-Without ST, Winamp closes in 1 sec.
-ST window freezes for about 10 sec when closing in tray.
-Winamp Preferences menu freezes for about 5 sec when closing.
-Winamp freezes for about 5 sec when saving an ST preset.
-Older versions of ST (3 and 4) where ok. I think the problem started between versions 5 and 6.
All of the above don't affect the sound, but is annoying delay in Winamp response.

Winamp v5.62
StereoTool v6.10
WinXP Pro SP3

Hi mandelmantis

Can you tell us something about your PC hardware ? CPU, graphics, memory .. etc..

I've tryed v6.10 on many different PCs, and on all of them no hangs.

Thanks again for the quick reply.
Antivirus software caused high CPU usage when opening-closing Winamp and StereoTool.
Case closed with a smile :)
StereoTool deserves a donation.

Can you tell me what virus scanner you use? Because i have the same problem with NOD32.

AVG 10.
Disabled real time activity and its ok.
I just need it to scan once a month.
