You're removing remaining peaks above 50% :?:
in ST case no - if you just look at numbers - yes.

I am using "keep band 1 at band 2 level.." at 400-500%, so 2-band AGC acting like 1-Band (something like wideband - in the absence of sidechained EQ) but with less reaction to low sounds (0-150Hz), which i wanted intentionally!
So, in case like that "Remove remaining peeks" have less reaction too, and that's why i need lower then 100% for band1.
Now, for this preset i am testing it's at 30%.
OK. Interesting. You and I have similar preferences for how things sound, so I'll check for whenever you post it.

Hi Hans. Constantly downloading and listening to the program. Good progress but it seems to me that you walk around ... I use the program's BETA620-037. Super OLL OK!!!!!. She showed normal results. In other versions there is damage to the sound. Especially the stereo effect. Circumcision is a left then a right. Duran Duran - Ordinary World Compressed bass.
I've compared BETA037 against BETA067 (the last before I moved pre-emphasis to the end of the chain), and there's almost no difference between the two (and the difference that is there is SO little that I don't think it is audible).

ata latest betas Hasn... after 60... i tried 63 and 69 today and i have gaps.. :(
Odd. I just compared BETA070 against version 6.10 and it's actually faster using the same settings.

Are you sure that Natural Dynamics is also turned off? You cannot see that in the main window!

@Hans
When the declipper is on, does the 'wave display' only display in red the samples that are really declipped?
Or does it also display samples that aren't declipped because later in the algorithm it's defined as not really clipped?

Only those that are really declipped. If the value doesn't change they are not red.

To use Natural Dynamics at this point, if you have anything older than a Core2 or a Phenom, you have to disable other things to get the CPU load down. The other big CPU load is Loudness, so if you're still having stuttering / gaps, disable loudness. Depending on how fast your processor is, you still may not be able to use Natural Dynamics effectively. The most I can have enabled without stuttering on the equivalent of an AMD Athlon FX-57 is:

- AGC
- Multiband
- Natural Dynamics
- Hard Limit without oversampling

However, that has CPU utilization of 90-99%, and changing settings is very painful.

I was reminded by an old post on another forum, about a really nasty sounding album, one you guys might like/hate to hear, but a great torture test for ST anyways.

Brandon Boyd - The Wild Trapeze

It really puts the ass in nasty. ;)

with the latest beta 60 I still have the same issue stuttering / gaps... I had to lower the Quality in the middle in order to sound normaly...
Even if i move a window i have gaps....
