Could you add some kind of warning to your builder or something like that so you don't forget to update stand alone version ;)

Chris, have you tried setting the half time to 0? Then 052 should be (almost) equal to version 049... Although I do hear a very small difference in voices, will check what that is.

Chris, there were 2 changes in BETA052 vs. BETA049.

1. Addition of smoothing. Can be turned off by setting half time slider to 0.
2. More smoothing across bands. Not configurable...

Now if (2) is the cause of what you hear, here's a version that has the opposite: Less (no!) smoothing between bands.
Do you think this sounds better?

Undo, at least in development right now, has an option to weight the dynamics detector control signals between the bands ( http://i.imgur.com/UXJM2.png ). I've found I prefer it with each band not weighted with any other bands. More accuracy and consistency. It should normally be much worse of a problem if it were the actual expansion control signals getting mixed together.

Beta52A - ok, now i´ve completely changed my whole multiband settings, because with my old settings i got a strange effect on the sound while playing hard metal tracks. It changed my sound depending on loudness, while playing smooth songs i dont noticed, but loud metal songs brought it to light. Now hopfefully i found a proper multiband setting for hard and soft music.

Because dynamic booster setting wont saved, i leave channel sliders at standard for now.

No bass boost, maybe a little work left with deesser. Hans, there are two short interrupts in the song. They came from ST output, i have no idea what that could be. Maybe ST cannot handle VBR properly? It moves between 128-256kb with this song, thatswhy i recorded it.

I think your input signal is too high, or expected input signal on dynamic booster is too low. ;)
