I started a thread about my sound and I took Bojcha's advice and fixed the "fast multiband" problem...

So now I took the unprocessed recording you posted camclone and processed it with my sound for web radio (no pre-emphasis).

Your sound is too "muffled" and "dark" if you ask me. So here's my version of your 27 minute recording. Not as much bass but much clearer/cleaner sound.

So I challenge your sound camclone with this:
https://rapidshare.com/files/460450164/ ... Island.mp3

@Camclone: I really like your sound. It is calm and non-fatiguing. But if I want to hear details of the song I would not use your preset for that purpose.

I listened your processed demo but i think that dynamics are UNNATURAL , but the strange is that voices are not distorted on songs!! wow !
More details but ...too much " zoomed " details on your preset.

much much different than my " sound colour "
my preset sounds like underdriven multiband BUT it sounds LOUD !, this is also strange but I ve MADE IT !

The reason my preset sounds " urban style " ( empty without too much " zoomed " details is ... HEADPHONES listeners!

On car , on work, on your big speakers you CAN AFFORD an overdriven multiband sound processr preset! BUT ...listeners with headphones WILL NOT!
:geek:
CAN someone make a preset that is LOUD and BASSY without too much MULTIBAND OVERDRIVE ?

on stereotool YES , this CAN BE MADE! ,

THE PROCESSED demo ( FM recording )
left/right recording for playback if you dont have an FM transmitter
http://rapidshare.com/files/460377163/R ... cessed.mp3 use windows media player with volume at 50 without any eq or limiters to be sure it s " as is "

MPX recording with 75 ms preemfasis FOR PLAYING IF YOU HAVE A CAPABLE PLAYER like mpxtool with 192 khz soundcard that can broadcast connected to FM transmitter

I thought Greece is in europe. Don't you should use 50us of pre-emphasis over there?
You like to post files, so please post an MPX recording with 50us of pre-emphasis, so i can test your wonderful greek music with the right gear.

Yes that is the one thing I cannot achieve like you, the LOUDNESS! I scanned your processed sound without pre-emphasis and it was volume 99.9db on mp3Gain! WOW! My processed sound was only 97.4db :(

There has to be a perfect balance between your sound and mine with loudness and detail but you have to share your preset to be able to work with both sounds and figure it out!

Glad you liked it though.

Unfortunately or ...fortunately, 5 greek radiostations from Crete Island are reading stereotool.com forums :( ( it's not illegal to steal....a preset !! , so...problem)

so, can you imagine ? to have the same sound signature as me ( from Greek FM market..) ?

i was working for this little preset for 2 years :(

if i find something louder/better/more competitive to the FM market than my preset i will post my preset .

i m realy sorry,
but , Greece is ..listening :)
:geek: :geek:
P.S.
CHECK THE STREAM ( IT''S THE FM PROCESSING ) , IT'S MUCH MUCH BETTER THAN LAST TIME! CLEAN AND MAX MAX MAX LOUDNESS ALL THE TIME ! :)

What you should do is post it on some site you make up, and set up a wild goose chase for us here @ ST. Only leave hints that people from "Greece" wouldn't get at all. ;)
