Stereo Tool

First i want to say how great this tool is

We use the command line linux version on a remote server in a quite complex chain. However we have still some issues with the sound. To diagnose it, we need to reproduce it locally with the gui, transfer a new settings file to the server and restart everything. This is not really a great situation

A very nice addiction would be, if we can connect with the GUI on our desktop to the server so we can change in realtime the settings and directly hear the differences.

Not precisely what you're asking for, but this gets close:

You could set up a script that continuously uploads your (local) settings to the server, and then point ST on the server to continuously load that file. That would basically implement a remote interface (Hint: Settings get saved when you minimize Stereo Tool!)


(Note: This has never been tested on Linux. I don't expect any issues, but if it doesn't work, please let me know).
