So, I'm using ST to receive encrypted SRTP stream input (VLC) from another instance of ST which is set to sout (also VLC), basically an IP-STL.

There is this case when bunch of packets were dropped (network inconsistency or problem on sending side) and the receiving end seems to hang up until the message box "Stream Restarted after ERROR!" shows up,
During this state I cannot change input device, cannot even quit ST (need to force quit via task manager) until that message box shows up.
Also, the output is silence during that stage, so I cannot do anything until the the VLC times out.

Maybe a manual "RESTART STREAM" button will make this work?

Also, using 2 instances of ST and SRTP for STL I'm getting about half a second of latency(!?) (excluding processing).
Maybe this isn't the best setup for STL, if then what do you guys recommend for IP-STL? or I shouldn't be using this in ST at all (maybe find another STL program?) :?
I'm using 16bit 44.1kHz linear PCM audio stream codec.

Hans now released a beta of his new MPX streaming product, so maybe you should check out this.
