Hello, can someone tell me if there is a preset that comes closest to this sound quality? If so could I pass it? I think a very good sound quality but do not know if the Stereo Tool can do it. Personally I don't think this sounds good. The distortion is noticeable, especially in the chorus (Workis firegun  00:00 to 00:20, 01:00 to 01:20...)The audio is Optimod processed, from what I can hear. Jeroen Platenkamp's presets built into Stereo Tool (Sublime, Beat This, Centurion) attempt to replicate the Optimod sound. |

I Tested presets Jeroen Platenkamp's and were those who arrived more or less close to the sound, but it seems that they should be more aggressive. Regarding the distortion I was walking down the street and the signal was very varying between 40% and 26% maybe that was the cause of this distortion. What about this radio? It is also processed by Optimod? She's just WEB ... http://hunterfm.com/live/ |

It's surely not Optimod on that web stream. I think the stream is processed by Stereo Tool. I prefer this sound over the sound in the recording. You can try the Bojcha's Unveil preset for that kind of sound. |

The stream can be ST or O.9, but.... it's not good either. I prefer this sound over the sound in the recording. You can try the Bojcha's Unveil preset for that kind of sound.   Bass is soft clipped (and boosted unnaturaly), as well as highs are to the roof. Unveil is way better and looks more/less like this (Lady Gaga - Alejandro, chorus):  See? Bass nicely boosted at about 80Hz to give punch and kick, while highs are smoothed. |

ST is probably not because I came in contact once and said that was a standalone processor. I got to try the presets Unveil was good, but wanted it to be equal to the stream I think better that way.
