Post subject: | What Exactly Does "Medium Stop" Do? |
Hi, I'm working on creating my own preset from scratch and I am curious as to one specific option in the Advanced Clipper. In the CPU sub-section, the slider "Medium stop" I don't understand. I can hear the difference when I adjust the slider, but I would like to know a technical explanation of what its purpose is to better understand it. There is no explanation of it in the help section nor have I been able to find a forum thread/post explaining it either. Any help would be great! Thanks guys ![]() |

The clipper works in 3 different window sizes, and this slider determines for how many steps it also does the medium size clipping. So, higher is probably better but at some point it should make nearly no difference anymore. Also, you might loose a bit of loudness if you set it higher. |

Thank you Hans.
