I'd like to have the ability to feed the SCA input with VLC with a separate stream from the one that is feeding the FM output.

The issue there is that we would have to synchronize the 1st and 2nd sound card, and that will be added as part of the (big) sound card/streaming I/O design that I have planned (it's on the todo list).
