I'd recommend not using Windows 10 with StereoTool, especially if you're broadcasting.
Windows 10 does upgrades without your permission whenever it wants and if your playing something, I'm guessing it thinks it's not important because it will start closing programs to do a reboot (without any notifications) and if you try opening something when it is closing (because you don't know it's shutting down) it creates a BSOD. I've had this happen to me 3 times now. At restart, it says, please wait, installing upgrades. (OK so now I know why you crashed my recordings Microsoft) Sheesh a little note that says, you want to reboot would have been nice. (Go figure, my PC was disconnected from the internet 2 hours earlier the last time this happened)
Besides that, the audio is not right, my audio in Win10 sounds like crap, even with ASIO when I can get it to work. I'm going back to Windows 7.

It's not as bad in all Win10 versions - I'm guessing you have the Home version? In some you can delay updates (but as far as I know not completely turn them off, although it would surprise me a lot if there won't be someone who makes a program that fixes it).

That ASIO thing is weird. Kinda has to be a bug in the ASIO driver I guess. Which sound card do you have?

I was having a lot of problems with Windows 10 x64 crashing my Stereo Tool SA also, after a lot of research I think I got a lot of the bugs out.
I ran 774-001 24/7 without any issues. I just tried the SA 774-013 version, working fine with no problems (so far) after a few hours (turning the Bypass on and off with no problems). Played with various settings including the "Bass In Your Face" setting without issues.
My solutions were...
First: To make a few modifications using gpedit.msc command (Local Group Policy Editor): ( My system crashed because of updates so that's why I did this)
Local Computer Policy > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Update
Configure Automatic Updates: Enabled
Defer Upgrades: Enabled
Turn on Software Notifications: Enabled
No auto-restart with logged on users for scheduled..: Enabled

I disabled most of the items it recommends in the Services using the services.msc command.
Choose carefully. I kept the USB services running since I plug things into my USB ports.
No more BSOD and with these changes my system doesn't upgrade or boot without my permission anymore. :lol:
Still having issues with my ASIO acting weird tho [argh]
