First of all, some food for thought on how this was created : - I used the first multiband to bring all the bands to a comparable level (this is made according to my ear and audio gear, and may vary from person to person's tastes and setups) - I used a second, fewer band compressor to "blend in" the levels - Used a final clipper to "trim" any peaks This preset is not that flat, it's actually punchy. Works OK on my stereocoder, directly from the soundcard. I used a lot of new functions from 7.7 like the two multibands, release gating and release inertia to make the compressors' gain more stable. Tweakable stuff : - AGC > You can turn matrix mode on/off according to your taste - Final Singleband can be turned off for cleaner sound - In final Singleband try to play with Release Inertia and Continuous Release to adjust something which could innacurately be called a "musical duty cycle". At least, that's the best definition i came up with. Rapid release makes the sound "more packed" as opposed to slower release which keeps the sound cleaner. - Levels in MultiBand 2 - Final output level can be adjusted to -1dB - this helps prevent unwanted clipping done in the soundcard - Hard Limit output can be disabled if one does not really need it - First Multiband (classic multiband) has an option Limit <> Compress. It's set to "Compress 100%", but try and slide it towards Limit and see how you like it. The highs will more "packed" (less dynamics) when you slide to "Limit". Bonuses : Does not make use of any of the registered version's functions ![]() Let me know how you like this one. Version 1 - Original Version (punchy) Attachment:
And... due to pupular demand, Version 1.2 - Newer Version (less punchy and very compressed sound) - still freeeware ![]() Attachment:
File comment: This is a more dense version, with stereo expander.

Excellent on the CZE-7C, fixed all the audio output problems from this cheap transmitter. Stereo separation is incredible, just had to disable pre-emphasis in Stereo Tool. Thanks. |

I am now using these settings with my ST-15B transmitter. It sound amazing. Very clear, crisp and detailed. I activated the advanced clipper with +3dB to get a louder sound without overloading the transmitter, but everything else was fine. I can live with a 3 second promo every 12 hours ![]() |

Thanks for the feedback.I worked a lot on balancing the preset... so that if you enable / disable an effect, it will work out-of-the-box. I started noticing that a lot of presets sent were unbalanced... for example if i disabled advanced clipped or singleband, the signal would shoot out the meters ![]() So, feel free to tweak it some more so that it suits your ears betters ![]() |
