Is there a way to have ST start with the current or last settings used with the VST plugin. Or is there a way to have that set?

In case of the VST plugin, the VST host should take care of that... It should store and reload the settings when you restart it.

yes the host starts back with ST loaded but not with the settings it was playing last

Which host is it? Can you contact them about this?

Btw - the NAME of the last loaded preset might indeed not be saved for a VST plugin, but the settings themselves should be.

Radioboss is the host. ST loads fine. It's just the preset that doesn't get reloaded if it's the last one used.
