Hi Hans. Now maybe Im showing my ignorance here, but perhaps it could help lots of users and setups if there is some kind of simple visual representation or 'signal path diagram' through Stereo Tool - I am often wondering which section precedes and succeeds another when looking at exactly how the signal is processed. I realise that the AGC for instance is earlier in the chain than the multiband, for obvious reasons - but Im not quite sure where some of the other filters and tweakers fit in. I presume that some are parallell and some series built, but not sure which is which or where they go. It could make it easier when setting up a preset and you have in mind what kind of processing you want it to perform. (or maybe there is already a diagram of which I have no knowledge, and someone can point a link) Regards, Bertie |

The order of processing is the order in which the filters are listed, both in the menu and in the bottom display  There are a few small deviations from this (for example, part of the lowpass filtering is done before MB because that protects the highest MB band against loud high pitched tones that are present in some badly mastered tracks), but in general you can assume this to be the chain. |

Well I suspected as much, now I know... thanks. I guess its all logical really..  Or maybe I just have an interest in looking at fancy diagrams...  But its good to know. |

I have two questions: 1) Is perfect declipper 24/96 compatible? 2) I have a fellow forum mate from Russia who uses VST stereo tool for declipping CD's in Adobe Audition and when using 24/96 the content above 22khz is cut-off. This does not happen with the standalone VST perfect declipper plugin. Why? |

Yes I do know, the 22khz cutoff appears on 24/96 material using stereo tool vst but is ok using perfect declipper vst.
In both cases you should see cut at 22.05kHz. |
