| Post subject: | extreme eq settings |
When using extreme eq settings is it technical/soundwise beneficial to shift the complete eq curve by some dB to have it nearer to the origin to achieve stuff like having the maximum/minimum or the average closer to 0 or doesn't it matter with the approach ST takes? (restoration work, so using less extreme eq isn't an option  )
