Post subject:  Sampling Rate for RDS 192khz

Hi.

I installed a sound blaster card with 192 khz output on my pc. No luck with RDS. So I picked up my old laptop with a realteak onboard chip, installed ST, set SoundCard to 192 khz in Windows and started ST. Instead of going through all the input I just decided to use ST VLC capability and use a stream and add RDS.
WORKS. Great.
So two questoins:
-Why does the damn sound blaster audigy fx not work?
- When I use the stream the ST sampeling rate is at 44khz and I can not change it. Field is greyed out. but since the Soundcard is set to 192khz RDS works fine. So the question is, can I use ST with a lower sampeling rate and just have the high sampeling rate in the Soundcard for the output even when I not use a stream? Or does the sampeling rate ot ST and the output rate have to Match. Or Would it be enaugh if the input Rate and input Sampeling Rate match.

THANKS
Stefan
