Post subject:  Migration BBP ASIO - StereoTools

Good evening , I'm from Brazil and whenever I could , I used the BBP Asio to radio stations I work as IT

I set always easy BBP Asio , but would like to test the Stereo Tools.

Using an EMU 1212M and have great results . I also want to test with some onboard HD card (only testing purposes ) .

Is there a tutorial or some help for me to start .

Use as follows:

Sound mixer (microphone + computer) ---- ---- balanced cable audio card inputs ---- one of the outputs (audio + stereo + Pilot ) -------- MPX .

Could someone give me a statement ?

Hi..
It's prety easy. Turn on ASIO, set input and output and load some preset. :)

I'll put together a test machine with the board even onboard and post here the results, you help me ? I would like to configure ASIO .

The results are well above the BBP ????

I can then integrate the encoder . Edcast for example?

Not sure what do you mean there.

No. Stereo Tool does not support DSP plugins or any other plugins. So, you need to change configuration a bit.
You would need Virtual cables to make all happen. Stereo tool have independent outputs so you can use one for FM and other for streaming even without FM pre-emhasis.

I have an E- MU 1212m PCI is a good audio card option ?

I can also an M -Audio Audiophile 192. With the changes on the board, is a good sign ?

Forgive me for hijacking the thread, I prefer not to open new ones... especially for newbie questions...

I'd like to use ASIO for ST on a new machine, but it says there is no driver... where do I go from here

Win 7 Pro, Realtek Sound Card...

Realtek does not support ASIO. However you can try Asio4All.

And regarding ASIO4ALL and realtek - it always choppes the audio on mine - no idea why... no matter how I set the buffer it starts smooth and after a short moment - chopping (it's 100% ASIO4ALL fault, it doesn't matter whether I use Stereo Tool or whatever)

Ah thanks guys. Then I'll deal with the latency, I suppose.

You see reason why ASIO soundcards are not cheap.
