Several basic questions about Azimuth under Stereo: Can you think of a reason why you would not set the Azimuth limit to the maximum (100)? Are there any disadvantages to setting the Azimuth change speed to the fastest setting (2.00)? Am I correct that the most Azimuth correction could take place with the limit at 100 and the speed at 2.00? Thanks! |

Yes. You don't want it to respond to very brief changes between the channels because the measurements aren't 100% accurate. If it averages over time, that doesn't matter - but otherwise you might be getting weird effects. Also if the speed is very high, you might get some cancellation effects at high frequencies. Setting the limit to the maximum doesn't have too many effects, but it increases the CPU load and I have never seen a case that needs it. |
