Hay all, just for you guys to play with these are my latest presets. UPDATE1 has some changes in AGC settings for both presets. UPDATE2 again some AGC settings changed, and some general settings WEB preset, mainly for internet radio stations is called 'Centurion WeB'. This is a verry smooth yet powerfull preset with some extra heavy LOW BASS content. download/file.php?mode=view&id=1362 The FM preset i added is made on a MARIAN TRACE ALPHA machine and has all settings that come with this card. The FM preset is called 'Centurion FM' and is almost the same as its web version, only thing thats different is its MB release times, Band 1 attack time and Advanced clipper level is somewhat higher. download/file.php?mode=view&id=1363 These presets are made on ST 7.50 béta 6 and MOST IMPORTAND is to set latency to 1024 for both presets !! If your latency is at 4096 it does effect the sound due to band crossover settings, so advise to set latency at 1024. Please give me feedback, always nice to hear your visions...if you like it, also nice to let me know ![]() Thanks and have fun !! Jeroen Platenkamp

Very fine preset! Your 80s preset also did very well. I always had to use 1024 latency because my core2duo & VirtualDJ could not handle it. (Now with 'new' Core2Quad no glitches anymore). I wanted the AGC to be a little bit more constant so I changed gating from -5.42 to -9 dB and the sudden volume jump protection from 10 to 7 dB. Thanks! |

Wow, this sounds great! I wish my processor could handle it! I also like version 1 a little bit better (that comes with 7.50), I think. Now, I really want to update my equipment. By the way, I wonder why this preset requires so much more horse power (cpu)? Edit: Lowering cpu load to about 40% (edit add: to 60%) and display refresh to nil has stopped the stuttering on my system (so far). |
