Suggest Linux version having same features as Windows version; * VLC source input * Multiple instance support (supporting the JACK patchbay persistent routing between pc restarts. Notice VLC player currently supports multi instance with JACK). Was wondering - with JACK is it perhaps possible to easily allow a sound cards outputs to be shared between ST instances? ie. ST1 composite > card L output, ST2 composite > card R output. This would be cool given the windows ASIO sharing limitations, although perhaps most useful when Marian have 192 kHz linux drivers/support! I think JACK is now available for windows/mac too, so is this perhaps a way around the ASIO sharing issue? |
