Post subject: | Question about Bojcha King Fire Preset |
I am using stereo tool 7.41 with Bojcha King Fire Preset and find the highs a bit too harsh on a lot of music. I am using FM output and have a full stereo tool licence for all features. What is the best way to be able to tone the high frequencies down to more normal levels? I have fully calibrated my transmitter with the Pira 75 so the sound card and transmitter have a flat response. I am using the VIA HD Audio built into the motherboard and have a PKBee NT 2013 6w Transmitter. |

Try lower mix level in MB for last band. |

Using the equalizer and cutting from 1khz to 5khz helps cut the harshness but makes the music sound a bit dull on some tracks. would cutting the band mix down on the 4th and 5th band help and how much should I cut by? Unfortunately i'm not an expert at knowing what to adjust to tailor the sound to suit. Adjusting the 6th band mix I presume as you suggest will only effect the very high frequencies, which don't seem to be the problem. |

I have now turned off the equalizer and reduced MB Band Mix 4th and 5th slider and increased MB 1st and 2nd slider to compensate bass loss from removing the equalizer. These changes seem to take that nasty harshness out of many modern tracks. Will need to listen more to make sure. Bojcha would you say this is the best way to adjust the sound rather than using the equalizer to do the same thing? |
