At the transmitter site I use ST 7.41 with Trace Alpha sound card. Preset Bojcha's King fire fm 2 version. Although I have switched off the equalizer which gives some extra bass and Bast Boost, I get a bit too much of bass. This influences the higher bands a bit and the compressor directly start to work much more at the lower bands. I use Power Bass (and Power hights, but not important for bass), this has not much influence when I switch this off. The rest of the preset is standard, with a smooth of the dirty option at advanced clipper, but also no influence when I switch this off. Can I reduce this so it will less influence the compressor? Thanks.

You mean too much input for bass bands?
Go into MB and set treshold lower. Compesate with "Band mix".

That is strange.. you for sure should have less bass input when you turn off EQ where bass is dominating.

That's true. In that sentence I didn't make that clear enough "Although I have switched off the equalizer, which gives some extra bass when it's enabled"
