After increasing the maximum Loudness setting from 1.5 to 1.75 I noticed that there was a lot of distortion in some sounds (that was also the case at 1.5, but at 1.5 it wasn't that bad yet - in fact better than what I hear on many commercial FM stations). Anyway, I found the culprit and solved it. Also I increased the maximum value from 1.75 to 2.0 (and 2.0 now sounds a lot better than 1.75 did in the previous release). On top of this, some other artifacts that were caused by the loudness filter are now also reduced a lot. |
