Greetings, I stumbled upon an old transmitter that contains a BA1404 FM-Stereo Transmitter IC. I have found various things online that mention that removing the crystal input; it will disable MPX and operate in mono mode. I'm considering trying to mod this thing and giving the MPX encoder in StereoTool a try (out of sheer boredom). Has anyone ever done this with a BA1404? |
