Hi Everyone - I'm not a broadcaster but use Stereo Tool for improving sound.

I purchased a Product Key to access the Declipper function:
Invoice number: SA00000611
Date: 28 Apr 2013 00:02:59 GMT+02:00

Current use: the DSP version with WinAmp, the Stand-Alone version when necessary (with ASIO and VAC); and the VSP version when using WaveLab 8. I use my laptop only: Lenovo 410p, 64-bit Windows 8, Intel i7-4700MQ CPU@2.4GHZ, 8G RAM

The 7.24 version registration GUI will not allow me to paste entry or manual entry my registration number. Isn't the customer allowed to enjoy the Upgrade Versions? Please Respond Soon -

Thanks!
Ryan
San Diego, CA

Hi,
I hope Hans will get back to you soon!

Meanwhile.. i tried registration with my serial number and all works fine.
Did you paste it fully, and did you include < and > signs at start and end of serial ?

You should be able to paste it using Control+V. (So not by right clicking!)

Keys are valid indefinitely also for newer versions (only in rare cases new features may be added that require an upgrade, but that's for new features, not existing ones), so that's definitely not the issue here. Even keys given out for Stereo Tool version 3.50 for example still work.

Can you try the Control+V? If that fails for some reason, you can enter the key manually, but I know it's quite long...

Thank you for the responses, really appreciate the quick answers.

No real reason why I couldn't paste the registration number into the registration window. I did end up entering it manually and Yes, I did forget the ">" at the end of the number. Manually, the number disappears out of the window so I didn't see I had left it off.

Anyhow, I have introduced many people to Stereo Tool in my part of the world - San Diego, CA. The electronic engineering is brilliant, seriously. Because of ST, I've gotten deep into using Steinberg's WaveLab8 and in fact, the only VST component is Stereo Tool. Since then, I've become a proponent of Virtual Audio Cable to solve nearly all the component-connection issues; used together with ASIO4ALL, I haven't encountered a music player that didn't connect. And I've tried them all. Using these components has even turned iTunes into a great player. My favorite thus far is WinAmp/dspStereoTool. All the signal output is streamed to a Teac DAC/Amplifier with appropriate speakers in each listening area.

That's it you guys, thanks again for the great care and feeding of your customers. Also - I just posted a link to a folder on my Google Drive with my offering of ST Settings. If you ever make it to San Diego... I'm buying.
