When switching into SSB mode, it appears that the demodulated music level drops by about 1-2 db but does not happen on a steady tone. This is on the Extreme and Standard settings (the other two settings were not tried). |

For "extreme" mode that makes sense (a bit less than 1dB drop), in standard mode it should be far less though (I measured about 0.1 dB a few days ago). Which preset/settings are you using? |

Standard SSB with my Loud 'n Clear FM preset. The human ear can only hear changes of 1db or greater...that's what motivated me to look at the mod monitor as I heard the loss. Composite strictness at 12, Extra Comp Clipper Drive at +1db. |
