Anyone got a favorite case they use for ST.Looking for something small with MB/CPU combo that will take the Marian Trace Alpha card .Looks like a mini-tower case may be a way to go.Looking for something to take on the road and demo ST.With the new ST features coming, quad core cpu will probably work the best. I have a Dell I5 but it's too nice to lug around in a truck,it's my home toy.. |

Wouldn't a laptop, or better - a *fast* netbook with an USB audio card work for you? I *think* there are nice 192khz capable sound cards out there that can work via the USB. |

Are the ESI Juli cards DC straight? This looks like an easier to obtain card in the USA! Getting our Marian was.....erm.... difficult. |

No it's not.. but ralitvely easy to set tilt (now possible in ST) I have one Marian trace Alpha at one transmitter, measuring output really gives no additional tilt adjustments. However when i meausured while it is on transmitter's MPX input - i needed small tilt correction, just a bit. So, you always need to check for tilt, no metter what card. with Juli@ i like simplicity with routing and full Asio support. Full mean.. it will work with every asio version in any software. Also better driver for 64bit OS. However, i always recommend 32bit OS for dedicated PC for transmitter site (XP or W7 starter/home basic). |
