Stereo Tool

On a Windows 7 x64 Pro machine with 8 cores (2xOpteron 2376), 32gb memory, 100gb disk free:

Downloaded latest audacity (2.03), latest Stereo tool vst plugin (7.03). Copied vst plugin to plug_ins directory. Started audacity. Changed preferences to rescan plugins. Restarted audacity. Stereo Tools shows up under Effects. Opened scar_tissue sample. Turned on declipper (was off by default). Left all other settings default. Ran it. The samples were slightly shifted in time (moved over a bit) but unchanged in levels.

Uninstalled 7.03. Intalled 6.32. Tried it again. Worked fine with defaults (declipper enabled by default).

Uninstalled 6.32, reinstalled 7.03. Enabled declipper and tried it again. Worked on the first 30 seconds by left the rest unchanged!

Tried shutting down sql server to free up memory. Undid and redid it again. Changed the last few seconds only.

Nothing in the event log. Nothing in the audacity log.

It seemed to work the one time I tried it last night though but hasn't since. Weird.
