First of all I love ST7, I don't want this post to be seen otherwise!
But I have to confess to some confusion using it, because of the new GUI. Overall the new GUI is great, but what confuses me is the menu on the left hand side.
If I click on 'Processing' I see the full menu of options below. Now if I go down and click on 'Limiting & Clipping' it expands to show me sub-menus. I can click on 'Simple Clipper' for example.
But then when I click on 'Advanced Clipper', most options disappear.
I understand why this is done, but the way it's presented at the moment I really lose sense of where I am.
Some menus don't collapse down, like Processing->Natural Dynamics->Band Settings.
Others do straight away, like Processing->Declipper.
I understand what's happening, but it's still quite confusing - I get the sense I've disabled all those other features because they've disappeared. (I know I haven't)
I know a lot of work has gone into ST7 and it shows, but this is one area I feel could be a little bit less confusing, maybe using a menu like the one on the left hand side of this image:
