Stereo tool is killing my recourses. I enjoyed using it, but cant figure out how to delete and or uninstall it. Can anyone advise me as to how? please email me any details it would be greatly appreciated. DLF39@hotmail.com Cheers |

I suppose this is the Winamp version? Here are some options: - To uninstall, just right-click on the Winamp window, go to Options -> Preferences -> Plug-ins -> DSP/Effect, and select (none). - To reduce the CPU load, turn some processing steps off. If you just want a consistent volume, turn everything off except for the multiband compressor (and maybe the dualband processor), set CPU quality to Low or Normal, disable Multiband HQ mode. Keep everything else turned off. This should not cause a very high CPU load (unless you have a very slow pc). You might want to download the new 3.20 beta version, which has a slightly better sound quality when the CPU quality is set to Low. - You can also right-click on the Stereo Tool tray icon to turn Stereo Tool on or off. When turned off it uses almost no CPU power. And you can quickly turn it on when you need it. |
