Hi guys, I'm using the Stereo Tool's latest beta, and just installed Realtek HDA X-Fi modded drivers. I have a Realtek ALC892 over here, and the audio quality increased a lot. I disabled all audio effects (SRS and Dolby processing are enabled by default), and Stereo Tool now shines much more. I think everyone that got a Realtek HDA chip should give these drivers a try. :)

P.S.: I used the 2.70 Final one. I don't know if other versions will work too.

As far as i can see, those drivers can be just worse then original Realtek drivers for Stereo Tool usage.
They are meant to be for other things like DTS, Dolby, SRS, etc.. better support.

Well, over here these drivers improved the audio quality using Stereo Tool. Surely it supports a dozen of technologies not interesting for our use, but I gave anyway a try and I'm satisfied with the results.
