Seems i have trouble to get ST (stand alone V7.01) running on ASIO with my trace alpha sound card.

BBP runs fine on ASIO drivers, also ASIO control pannel can be opend.

When starting ST, it runs. but not with ASIO (contol pannel can not be opend) At this moment running witout ASIO drivers so, the latency is not accepable.
I had it running (ASIO control panel could be opend via ST) but now it does not open anymore.
When the ASIO control panel could be opend, the latency was fine.

So, it seems an ASIO problem, i have tried new Trace Alpha Drivers, but did not work, and BBP dit not work any more (known problem) so installed the old drivers again.
Also tried ASIO4ALL, but when select in ST, the sys tray icon did not apear.

Does anyone has tips ??

- Running on WIN7
- ST 7.01 Stand Alone

Which colors are the buffer indicators in Stereo Tool?

- Blue: Normal audio (non-ASIO)
- Green: ASIO
- Red: ERROR

If they are BLUE it's a configuration issue inside Stereo Tool
If they are RED it's an issue with ASIO
If they are GREEN then ASIO should be running fine.....

Well, i have found the problem.

Problem was in the in/output configuration of ST.
It seems i could open the ASIO control panel when ASIO buffer overide channels at FM output were configured.
However when i did, the output was gone, and at the input channel i gave an ASIO error (RED BUFFER)

So for all you freaks who would like to use ASIO, don't forget to sellect ASIO overide channels at both in and output.
I am a newbee on stereotool / ASIO so i mention this could happen to others too.

Might be just current peek :)

In the oscilloscope display output, this does not seem to be only one peak

While we're on the Marian Trace Alpha topic, any idea why I can only get the Sample Rate up to 128? Works reliably there (and does provided stereo separation) but when I attempt to go higher, my input level disappears as does the output level (the stereo pilot--while still visible on the ST display--no longer shows on the FM modulation monitor). The ASIO box is checked and frankly, the audio sounds pretty good.

It should work at 192! At 128 the first problem is that you'll not have RDS. I use Marian Trace at one transmitter site without problems.
What you could check, is Sample rate adjusted to 192kHz in Marian trace Settings?

As Bojcha said, you should check the sample rate settings...

Are you certain that you are running using ASIO? You said that you checked the ASIO box, have you see the post by phantomfm regarding ASIO overide?

Also, what OS and driver version are you running for the Trace Alpha? Can you get other software to run using 192kHz?
