Hi! I noticed that I was using wrong samplerate at output which caused artifacts to output because of the crap resampler in Windows audio subsystem.. When I changed it to correct one (from Windows audio control panel (48kHz ----> 44.1kHz)) Stereo Tool's audio IO freezes.. GUI is still responsive but "restarting" audio input from configuration window doesn't help, neither does changing input or output.. After I realized nothing can be done to save the running process I hit X.. which completely hangs the program. Only thing you can do after that is to forcibly shut it down. |

Hi Modulator, - Which sound card do you have? - Is this with normal I/O or ASIO? |

For output i'm using Behringer UCA 200, VAC for input. It happens with normal I/O. Now I tested it further and when I go from ASIO to normal, it does the same. And now i'm stuck as the Stereo Tool reverts old settings, so what's before hanging, will be there when restarting. |

Workaround for now: Minimize (iconify) Stereo Tool, then it also writes the settings to disk. |
