Post subject:  winamp or radioboss with s.t. - CPU problem

hi again , in two deferent laptops one fujitsu siemens with core duo T2350 @ 1,87 with 2G memory 32 bit and in one Dell inspiron 1545 T4200 / 2.0 GHz Dual-Core 4G memory 32 bit ( and after format 64 bit ) with win 7 i have the same problem !
well, i open the winamp or radioboss and everything works fine , but when i enable the s.t. the CPU usage goes to 99 - 100 % and the sound its foul of glitches and bad ! i try all deferent versions of s.t. from 4 to 6.3 with the same results ! i don't have any problem in older and slower pcs with vista or xp !
please i like your soft and makes my radio sounds realy great , i buy a new laptop only for this and i have the same problems ?
please help me !

Odd! Can you check which part of ST is using so much? (By turning them on one-by-one and checking the CPU load for each). Based on info that I can find on the core duo T2350 it should be not that much worse than the i7 I use for testing myself (it has only 2 cores, but ST only uses 2 so that should not make any difference, and per core the performance is not that much different).

So it should actually run with ease on that system.

Unless the systems you mention are configured for low power usage instead of high performance!
