Sound processing is getting better and better .
My preset just became better and better!

THIS IS BETA622-035.exe version of Stereotool AND a COMPLETELY RE-DESIGNED PRESET FROM SCRATCH by me. :!:

On FM broadcast the modulation power goes to 9,5 dbr :roll: :roll: :roll: at 74-75 khz with stereo pilot on normal levels.

I HAVE TESTED OMNIA 9 , 11 and orban 8600 , but THIS LATEST BETA of stereotool IS THE LOUDEST AND CLEANEST THAN ALL THESE BOXES.

CHECK FOR YOURSELVES but PLEASE listen 3 or MORE SONGS to be sure you hear good recordings . :!:

I friend of me, and you and hans ..recorded for me an FM process of a 20 minute wav file with some Greek music i had prepared and i compare this file to all the others :)

I can say that i am louder than Omnia 9 ! Proven . ( but since then omnia has changed the firmware maiby not any more ?? !!( since summer of 2011 )

I will contact again JG 8-)

Your transmitter at 104.5 was receivable in Sofia area with DX equipment, and on the Vitosha Mountain with (almost) any radio.
Not it isn't. What gives? Decreased power?

Are you sure ? The radio id spots where the same ? ( Ritthhhmos 1o4, 5 ? )

Yes, it is possible, but only at summer from my experience even at 900 km !

Crete Island in Greece is a very good place for broadcasting to ...Africa , Europe, Middle East AND BALCANS ...at summer :)

( we play with legal levels of kwatts and EIRP of course )


EIRP on your direction is almost 13KW. Possible mode of propagation was tropo ducting, due to certain weather conditions above aegean sea. Thanks a lot for your report.

Output transmitter power: 1,5 KW

antenna: 6 X 5el yagi, QTF 110 deg.

Height ASL 870 meters

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask. I would also like to know if you have received any more stations from Crete Island.

Why not play like romanians - 30kW output (allowed 10 but they don't care much) .... and (almost) 24/7 reception (~45-50dbm) in around 65+% of the contry, including the Capital with ordinary FM receiver and 80+% with DX equipment.

Now, even when I'm close to Greece, I still can't receive 104.5 with DX equipment :( Maybe something went wrong?!

The only transmitter that is receivable in Sofia is ERA SPOR from Kavala (107.3) and now it's about 20dbm at most :( That means only with DX equipment and at some microlocations - with a very good FM tuner (if you are lucky)...

p.s. why you are limited to so low power levels, from such a nice mountain peak?! You need AT LEAST 10 kW OUTPUT ;)

Our regulators have much worse limits (50W with transmitter at city-level, 20W at mountain top with azimuth of 30 degrees) but national radios are 10kW.

In Greece radio licences are ONLY FOR PARTS OF THE COUNTRY PER LICENCE.

so , there are NO full national licences :)
we are allowed to broadcast only to Crete Island ..but when the weather is good...we jump some 500 km away :) :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
( there is no reason to broadcast so many kwatts becuse our antenna system is designed as good as possible )

When did you recieve 1o4,5 ? ( what year what month ? )
was it my 104,5 or someone else ? ( in Greece 33 radiostations broadcast at this frequency... so are you sure that i was the station ?
