Post subject: | [FIXED[ General GUI Data Update Functionality->non-standard |
Would it be possible to change the general GUI data update functionality ? Until now the whole sub-GUI and all of its slider positions are read if you touch anything in that sub-GUI. Would it be possible to change the functionality that only the actual moved slider and an actual enabled/disabled option are read ? That would help a lot for STS preset with non-standard values. Those values could persist. Until now those settings get lost if you change anything in the corresponding sub-GUI. EDIT Stereo Tool 7 and its new GUI supports now that requested behaviour - only the actual moved slider and an actual enabled/disabled option are read inside the sub-GUI (module). And all non-standard parameter values (manually modded imported STS files) persist as long as you do not touch the individual sliders/options in the GUI ! Of course if you touch the individual sliders/options then the corresponding imported non-standard parameter values will be reset to the maximal standards of the GUI. Though it is possibly not a good idea to use non-standard values for public presets, it is now much easier to create non-standard modifications and test those in conjunction with other parameter changes inside a sub-GUI for private use. For example: Before version 7 it was not possible to change any slider/option inside Multiband sub-GUI without resetting all non-standard STS MB settings to the limits of the GUI. So it was more or less necessary to do all further preset modifications inside the STS files with a text editor to keep the non-standard values. |

Not for now - too much work to update since I'm planning a total GUI redesign anyway. Sorry... ![]() |
