Some users use a VERY low input level (like -20 dB) to be able to handle loud spikes in the input signal. If you do that now, many GUI elements become unusable, and the noise gate and declipper may be difficult to set up.

So it would be great to have a slider that increases the level for normal input to more 'usable' levels. That also makes it much easier to use existing presets without having to adjust them.

(Example: Input level is at -20 dB. Then this slider should amplify the input level by approx. 20 dB. This does not lead to clipping because internally Stereo Tool can handle any value here.)

I would add also "fine balance" - something like +/- 3dB
