This STS was built with 6.10 registered. I don't have any analysis tools, so it was built by ear ![]() I use Stereo Tool with my hobby stream off of my home PC through Loudcaster. Goals: 1) Clear 128k MPEG stream playback through laptop speakers - tiny little devils have terrible response - This is NOT a setting for "serious" music listening; but it's fun for streaming pop/rock music 2) Steady volume for listening at low levels in the workplace 3) Loudness curve modeling for headphone listening (a little Fletcher-Munson twist) 4) Not too much distortion (final loudness limiter at x1.50) I'm definitely interested in comments - please keep in mind the target playback devices. Thanks to everyone for putting up their settings files - gave me lots of ideas. Dave http://loudcaster.com/channels/763-RadioDAVE |

Here is an update for 6.20 registered. I'm running on Win7 x64, i5 quad, 8G RAM, SSD, with a 25/25 mbps FIOS connection. Audio is currently the motherboard on-board chipset. My stream is built by RadioBOSS, processed by Stereo Tool 6.20, encoded at 128K OGG, sent to Loudcaster, transcoded to 64K AAC and 32K AAC for listeners. Most of my listeners have cheap PC speakers, or laptop speakers. Some will use earbuds on an irregular basis. The music I stream is 80's and 70's classic rock and pop. I'd totally dig feedback and suggestions. Thanks, Dave
