Am I correct in assuming that, to use the digital input of a soundcard, it would have to be separate from the one feeding composite out, due to the different sample rates? Was trying it with a Marian Trace Alpha, and the digital input only works if Stereo Tool is turned off. Figured it had something to do with the sample rate setting. |

It could very well be. You might be able to check it by using normal instead of FM output; if that works but FM output does not work this must be the cause. If you use ASIO, the input and output sample rates must ALWAYS be the same, regardless of what sound card you use. So assuming that the maximum digital input sample rate is 96 kHz it has to be this. |
