-After installation of ST, Winamp freezes for about 10-15 sec when closing. -Without ST, Winamp closes in 1 sec. -ST window freezes for about 10 sec when closing in tray. -Winamp Preferences menu freezes for about 5 sec when closing. -Winamp freezes for about 5 sec when saving an ST preset. -Older versions of ST (3 and 4) where ok. I think the problem started between versions 5 and 6. All of the above don't affect the sound, but is annoying delay in Winamp response. Winamp v5.62 StereoTool v6.10 WinXP Pro SP3 Thanks in advance. |

Hi mandelmantis Can you tell us something about your PC hardware ? CPU, graphics, memory .. etc.. I've tryed v6.10 on many different PCs, and on all of them no hangs. |

MBRD: ASRock P4i945GC CPU: P4 3.4GHz RAM: DDR2 2GB GPU: ATi RAdeon EAH4670 512MB AUDIO: RealTek ALC888 Thanks again for the quick reply. Antivirus software caused high CPU usage when opening-closing Winamp and StereoTool. Case closed with a smile  StereoTool deserves a donation. |

Can you tell me what virus scanner you use? Because i have the same problem with NOD32. |

AVG 10. Disabled real time activity and its ok. I just need it to scan once a month. |
