I am using Stereo Tool 6.10 on a Dell GX270 Pentium 4 2.8 / 1.5gb RAM with Windows XP Pro streaming with Station Playlist Streamer. I'm using the Web Radio (stereo) preset but had to go to the 2048 latency setting and the quality to the lowest setting in order to eliminate popping and clipping in the broadcast. The CPU is running at about 47% but after 5-7 days of running 24/7, the signal will start exhibiting pops and clicks until I reboot. Any ideas? Also, is it possible to have Stereo Tool automatically default to a saved configuration when it reboots? Thanks, Harold Levine Program Director Radio Bop 60s radiobop60s.com hl@radiobop.com |

Question: Does buffer expires on output when pops and clicks starts ?Quote: is it possible to have Stereo Tool automatically default to a saved configuration when it reboots?
Stereo Tool always use last preset you use before you shut it down. Just name of preset is not there!

yea sounds more like a buffer problem if anything. only thing I can suggest is giving stereo tool real time CPU use. and make sure you have a big buffer set. |
