Hello everybody I'm trying to use stereo tool in command line for clean sound before compare then. One sound got a very good dynamic range and the other don't. (the two files are the same but one is send into telecommunication network and when i receive it it's degraded) When I comparing them, my comparator tell me it's not the same. I think for the comparison be ok, I have to cut some frequencies in my two files and kept only the vocal part. So I installed Stereo Tool command line and the Winamp plug-in. The winamp plug-in help me to configure the sts file. I use this sts file in command line for obtain my file to compare. But, when i listen the file, it's nothing compare to what I listen on winamp, it's got a lot of loudness. I desactived everything except compressor and egalizer but there is always this problem (i'm also try to activate Hard Limit but no result ![]() Is someone can help me ? Is it because i don't use a register version ? Welcome GuillaumeA, Could you try the verbose mode (-v or -V for even more verbose). This will show you all the settings that are used. So: something like this: stereo_tool_cmd.exe -v input.wav output.wav C:\full\path\to\setting.sts (or -V for all the settings). |
