Your plugin for Winamp is awesome but if possible PLEASE include: 1) a button to actually kill the thing without the task-manager 2) an option to deactivate the autostart of the plugin with winamp kind regards a pissed user ![]() |

Hi, Ehm.. Task manager? Then you kill Winamp also! The "normal" way of unloading a Winamp plugin is: - Right click on Winamp -> Options -> Preferences -> Plug-ins/DSP/Effect -> Select "(none)". Doing this also disables the automatic startup. To load it again, follow the same sequence, but now select "Stereo Tool" again. If you want to quickly turn the processing of Stereo Tool off, when Stereo Tool is iconified you can right-click the icon to turn it on or off. Is this what you need? |

Would it be possible to include a mono check box where one could observe the azimuth correction and phase performance for listeners listening to the mono version of the stream. This would be useful for streamers that want to broadcast simultaneous stereo and mono versions of the stream. Also for FM stereo broadcasting one could observe how listeners hear the transition from mono to stereo and stereo to mono due to FM reception conditions. Basically this would be a (L+R)/2 of the stereo tool sound output |

Brian, L-R wouldn't do it, because you don't always get cancellation of sounds. Instead, you need the amount of phase differences. And that's already there! If you turn "Stereo Image" on (you can leave all the settings at 0 or 1 to make sure that it doesn't perform any processing), the 2nd blue bar on the top line shows the resulting phase difference between the channels (the first shows the phase before stereo processing). If this is higher, mono listeners will loose more sounds. |
