Here you can find a sample of THE SAME sound, processed with 9 different audio processors:
- Breakaway Broadcast Processor
- Omnia 6
- Omnia 9 By Leif Claesson
- Omnia.11
- Orban 8500
- Orban 8600
- Vorsis Air Aura
- Vorsis Vp8
- Stereo Tool 6.20 (BETA021)

Of course the settings are different, but there are many things that can be heard in these samples.

So far I haven't found a forum where all the different processors are compared, so I though I'd start one here :-)

I downloaded and listened to two processors: Omnia's 9 by Leif Claesson and Stereo Tool. I thought the Omnia sounded a little better and cleaner with the high frequencies and punch, most notably on the last track of test 2 and first part of test 3. Of course, the preset used and how it is configured makes a big difference in sound optimization. What Stereo Tool preset was used in this test?

Interesting experiments and so cool to see people working on better sounds. As compared to a heritage processor like Omnia, I think Stereo Tool holds up very well, is a force to be reckoned with and has a lot of bang for the buck.

Orban still sounds as if I've taken my tweeters and put masking tape over them.

Preset used for StereoTool demo is B-Town v4 by me.
