Before Loudness it's easy to determine if the lower frequencies will be dropped - and how much - by loud S sounds. So it is possible to DYNAMICALLY drop those highs a bit only when needed - instead of the current approach where the highs ALWAYS need to be limited to avoid ugly lower frequency volume effects. |
