What could be causing this problem? It looks like a Windows virus infection; pop-ups keep appearing, and I have to click several times to stop them from reappearing.
Uh...did I break it?

This is an error message that may need to be reported. Therefore, what version of Stereo Tool are you using?

Hi, not a virus, and you didn't break it - apparently we did. I thought we had completely gotten rid of this in the last few releases.

Can you still use the software, does the audio still come out properly? Can you send me your .ini file? (C:\users\username\stereo_tool.ini)? You can send it via email, or in a PM.

Hello, it's the latest version, 10.72. It seems that I'm adjusting some items in the "AGC" section, specifically the "Legacy, Current, Adaptive" settings. The sound skips briefly and then returns to normal, but this message keeps popping up on the screen, and I have to keep clicking it to close it.

I found the INI file. Does it record my actions? I'll send it to you later.(support@thimeo.com)

It has been sent.

Hi,

I'm testing it now, but so far I've been unable to trigger any NAN popups. The .ini file only records your settings, not your actions. So I can't see what you did.

Do you mean you get it when you switch between those modes?

What CPU and Windows version do you have? And are you using the 32 or the 64 bit version? Different CPU types and builds can behave differently.

Okay, I'll check that CPU again tonight. I'm doing the settings on another computer, and I think the problem occurred when I was pushing or pulling this item (as shown in the image). Although it shows as deprecated, the bass does sound good.

I was able to replicate it. Standalone, 64 bit windows. Bass AGC slider on Legacy AGC. This button is broken and applies when the agc is in different modes or off entirely. I recommend not using it (especially since the Legacy AGC has been essentially obsoleted by the newer AGC modes) at least until this is fixed.

If that setting is set to -100 dB, that's actually -infinity, which causes calculation errors. There were actually 3 issues:
1. The range shouldn't have gone to -100 (fixed)
2. The code couldn't handle the -100 value (fixed)
3. This one slider and checkbox are also active if the AGC is off or not set to Legacy mode. That's not yet fixed, because it may influence existing presets, so we need add some code to properly handle this.

We'll try to fix this in the next beta build. For now, keep the value above -100, and ideally, turn this filter off.
