Stereo Tool 10.72 is available!

Changes:
  • Added generated translations. Let us know if you miss a language or find translation errors.
  • Multiband compressor: Changed band linking behavior to respond with a delay. Avoids sudden wideband drops.
  • Multiband compressor: Added band linking from 3rd to last to last band to prevent excessive highs.
  • Enterprise: Intrasonics watermarking: Added support for ConsumerH8 codewords.
  • I/O: Updated PortAudio to latest version.
  • I/O rewrite: Sound cards are now opened with as many channels as there are available (not for MME/DirectSound).
  • I/O: Sound card errors are now separated per input/output target, and no longer displayed after fixing in the buffer meters.
  • I/O: Increased AES67 input network buffer size to prevent dropouts on high CPU usage in high priority threads.
  • I/O: Linux: AES67 LiveWire incoming stream detection didn't work on Linux.
  • Some errors now overwrite (replace) older error messages (in Stereo Tool).
  • All programs show a very clear error message if $HOME is not set on Linux, so settings cannot be stored.
  • Web interface: Added RDS display.
  • Bug fix: Since version 10.60, Stereo Tool could end up in a cycle where it kept complaining about audio glitches, typically after rebooting.
  • Bug fix: Multiband compressors in matrix mode caused weird hum on 5.1, 7.4.1 audio. Matrix mode is now disabled for > 2 channels.
  • Bug fix: STXtreme: Input 2 mode setting (backup etc) sometimes didn't work until reboot.
  • Bug fix: Command line progress display was mangled due to UTF-8 issue.
  • Bug fix: Issue in postponed low latency output initialization in plugins.
  • Bug fix: Phase Delay and Stereo Reverb could cause loud bursts on settings changes that could trip other things in the chain.
  • Bug fix: Streaming output could hang if now playing info was read from a remote drive that became unreachable, causing timeout errors.
  • Bug fix: Web interface: Clear error buttons often didn't work.
  • Bug fix: Web interface: Visiting Declipper scopes setting could cause crash in Linux since version 10.50.
  • Bug fix: Sometimes a warning was logged on Linux about being unable to set a thread priority or nice level.
  • libStereoTool: Added web interface and UECP port binding for safer integration without external access to web server.
  • libStereoTool: Added option to override default priority levels (needed to avoid glitches in external AES67 receivers).
  • libStereoTool: Added stereoTool_SetRdsBitCallback function to externally feed RDS data.
  • MicroMPX decoder: Bug fix: GPS: On some devices, obtaining loopback lock could cause 1PPS pulses to be no longer detected, disabling GPS lock.
  • MicroMPX decoder: Bug fix: HF tilt value below 0.220 caused weird results (Nyquist).
  • MicroMPX encoder: Increased USB delay range; Leo Bodnar GPSDO seems to need around 500 ms.
  • MicroMPX encoder: Improved validity check for incoming RDS signal.
  • MicroMPX encoder: Added Multicast TTL setting to override default (1).
  • MicroMPX: Bug fix: Changing sound card in encoder didn't work until restarting since version 4.3.0.
  • MicroMPX: Bug fix: ^C on Linux didn't close encoder or decoder.
  • Updated presets.
