Here is a clip from BBC Radio 2 playing Robert Miles One & One. The bass really thumps, but those bass frequencies don't appear in the original. What is happening, is it their processor's equivalent of True Bass, Immersive Bass, Phase Delay or something else? I know we can't reproduce the sound of other processors or radio stations, but I'm just curious to know. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FKtDH5 ... sp=sharing Thanks Ian. |

If the frequencies don't appear at all, rather than just being boosted, I'm thinking it must be some kind of harmonic synthesis. If the new frequencies offer a new fundamental lower than the existing one, it's likely their equivalent to True Bass. The bass really thumps, but those bass frequencies don't appear in the original. But when in doubt, I defer to Bojcha's pro ear. |
