Hi, updated to 10.70 winamp plugin, and when I updated I got a "Deprecated settings modified" warning. "If you don't want this to happen in future enable Keep deprecated settings under config" Can't find it! Please help. Reason I ask is that 10.70 sounds much quieter and not as punchy using same exact built in processing as 10.51. Adaptive bass monster dense & Repair modern recordings. Maybe enabling/disabling this setting that I can't find will help with that? Thanks ![]() |

Hi. This setting is in the Config menu, inside the Preferences widget. Make sure to expand it by clicking the > and you will find the options for depreciated settings. You probably want the first one checked (Show) and the second one unchecked (Clean up). I hope this helps. edit: It should also be noted that presets get updated from time to time when new features are introduced. Earlier ABM versions may sound slightly different from the version built into the latest release or beta, for example. So make sure to save the preset from the version you liked the most as its own sts, and import it into the later version to see if it changes. |

Thanks. MK. You are a helpful dude for sure. So I gotta ask a few questions about switching between presets using the ST winamp plugin: 1) How do you turn off a preset? I see where it says "Load selected settings" but what if I want to disable it instead? I don't see an "Unload selected settings" or "Turn off this preset" button 2) And what is the recommended method to switch between processing presets? When a song is playing and I switch between the sound effect presets I often hear a staticcy woosh weird sound and the new preset I selected sounds like sh*t (muffled) until I restart musicbee. This seems to only happen after I import a processing preset which gets put into folder C: dsp_stereo_tool.presets. If no file in there then no wooshing sounds and presets sound normal when switching while song is playing. Even if I pause the song, load up the next preset, then unpause the song sometimes I get the staticcy woosh sound and the new preset doesn't sound proper until I restart. 3) Is there a way to place your favorite processing presets up at the top for easy access? There are so many presets and it's a pain to scroll all the way down to the ones on the bottom of the list if you want to switch between them (all). Cheers ![]() |

1:By turning off a preset, do you mean Bypassing all Processing and Repair modules to recover CPU usage and defeat any sound differences? Or do you mean you want to turn off the Processing section separately from the Repair section instead? If the prior, there's a button in the upper right that may not have a label, depending on settings and window size. It's a circle with a square inside it and the word Bypass. If the latter, it's not currently possible to disable the Processing section and keep the Repair section enabled as simply as you may want. You can try loading a Repair-only preset (Modern Recordings, for example) and checking the Processing box to load empty values into the Processing section. Or you can reset different sections to factory defaults before loading your presets to make sure there's nothing left over from a previous preset that the one you loaded don't touch. The refresh (circle arrow) looking button is the reset button. 2: That sounds like a bug, and I've pointed the devs in this direction. 3: This is a nice feature request. However, the search box in the preset manager should help if you already know the name of the preset. |
