Stereo Tool

Hey guys,
I have an issue that started after I replaced my Marion trace cards with Digigram ALS222e sound cards.
First off the whys:
I replaced the Marion trace cards because we are now running HD on some of our stations and I needed a true AES signal to sufficiently drive our HD equipment, since my analog signal is still running at 192KHZ I am forced to keep the HD output signal running at 192KHZ at which the Marion trace card only puts out about .4 Volts P-P which is too low to drive our Inovonics 808 sync box properly.
Now our audio chains are FM signal is analog and our HD signal is of course AES.

Now the hardware:
We are using home built PC's running Windows 10 64Bit OS, 4 core I5-2500 processors with 8 gig of RAM, SSD for drive.
Our stereo Tools versions are all 10.41
Our audio cards are now using new Digigram ALP222e sound cards (with analog and digital in/out).

Now the problem:
all three boxes randomly start producing a very robotic sounding audio both on analog and digital. closing stereo tools and restarting it clears the problem up.
I see not obvious changes on any of my resources.
I am using ASIO for ALP222
I am also using default settings for the ALP-X manager with a internal rate of 192khz and sample rate set to application on the ALP-x manager screen.
I am having to run my FM Output buffer size at around 8.0 seconds to match the diversity delay for my HD system
My ASIO granularity is running at 4096.
I would be glad to share my stereo tools setup with whoever can help me out with this.

My thoughts:
Is it possible I need more ram as I did not think to check PC resources but I will next time this happens?
CPU usage doesn't seem to be affected.
I'm sure I forgot something information wise.

Interesting. Do you know what the buffer bars look like when this happens?

Sometimes on my home PC, when I add or remove audio devices (for me, it's when I plug in a controller that has a headset jack), I'll have to restart the audio devices from within Stereo Tool (or close and relaunch) to get the sound back to normal.

There's a button in the Output (click the > to expose more settings) sections called More Output Settings, in each the FM and HD outputs. Here, you can try to enable "restart on buffer issues" or mess with some of the other settings here. Just don't forget to back up your settings before accidentally making it worse.

My bench test machine acted up on me this morning and this time I performed the restart sound card button and the problem cleared up.
I made a couple of changes to the setup, one being changed the block size under latency settings from auto to 4096 and on the sound card I set the internal sampling rate from application to 192000 and now keeping an eye on it to see what that does.
What I really need is someone that has dealt with digigram cards used with stereo tools to chime in with any issues they may have had and what they did to correct it.
There seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people on here but it distresses me that so few care to offer any thoughts or positive insight.
